We have apparently made quite an impression! Let’s keep it going!
There is no point in wasting taxpayers’ dollars by continuing to test wind, when two reputable studies have proven there is insufficient wind. The anemometer is ultimately tied to the turbine project, and both are soundly rejected by our communities and our organizations. Feel free to mention all your other concerns with the Industrial size turbines sure to follow, as

Anthony Haines, President Toronto Hydro Fax no: 416-542-3452 OR 416-542-3429
Dear Premier, Minister Best, and Anthony Haines,
I am writing to you to demand the immediate cancellation of the construction for an expensive wind testing device off the Scarborough Bluffs. We perceive that this is totally part and parcel of Toronto Hydro’s intention to position Industrial Turbines very close to shore, near a community that is nestled into a migration route. This has already been established as an ANSI (Area of Natural and Scientific Interest). There are widely reported health concerns with turbines, and none have ever been placed in drinking water anywhere in the world. Additionally, the cost-effectiveness of turbine projects is SERIOUSLY disputed, and the associated environmental degradation is well-known. To suggest such a project at the sensitive Scarborough Bluffs is not in line with the billions of dollars spent to upgrade and protect the ________________________________________________________

I am further calling for a complete moratorium on wind projects in the Great Lakes, as there are no good economic and environmental reasons that can be supported by any measurement whatsoever. Disruption of the chemical stew that has settled in the lakebed over the last 50 years is not advisable. This is our drinking water!
Thank you sincerely,
